The Annual Bundle contains:
- 1 x Carbon Replacement Cartridge (left-hand filter housing), and
- 1 x Ion Replacement Cartridge with 3x Economy Refill Bags of Resin (right-hand filter housing).
The 3-Year Major Service Bundle contains:
- 1 x Carbon Replacement Cartridge (left-hand filter housing),
- 1 x Ceramic Replacement Cartridge (centre filter housing), and
- 1 x Ion Replacement Cartridge with 3x Economy Refill Bags of Resin (right-hand filter housing).
Save with Aquatiere! While there’s an annual cost for replacing water filter cartridges, it’s usually significantly lower than the expense of buying salt for traditional softeners.

Replacement Timeline
Carbon cartridge fits filter 1 - change once a year
ION cartridge fits filter 3 – change media every 3 months, -note the cartridge housing can last up to 8 refills before it needs replacing as a complete cartridge

Replacing the Carbon and Ceramic Cartridge
Steps:
- Close the mains tap.
- Use the spanner to unscrew the left-hand housing (unscrew to the left).
- Remove the old carbon cartridge.
- Put the new carbon cartridge into the housing.
- Use the spanner to tighten the housing again (tighten to the right).
Replacing the Six Refills of Ion Resin
Steps:
- Close the mains tap.
- Use the spanner to unscrew the right-hand housing (unscrew to the left).
- Remove the old carbon cartridge.
- Either (depending on what you bought):
- Empty the resin from the plastic cartridge and refill the new ion resin in the bag, or
- Remove the whole plastic cartridge and replace it with the new one (with the new ion resin already inside).
- Use the spanner to tighten the housing again (tighten to the right).
