Replacement Cartridge Details
Advanced Carbon Fibre
Carbon cartridges made with Advanced Carbon fibre technology are far more advanced than traditional carbon block cartridges. They offer higher flow rates, lower pressure drops, higher chlorine removal capacity and less susceptibility to premature blocking from sediments. This is what makes them the leading carbon cartridges on the market.
The fibres (coated in powdered activated carbon) have a very large surface area to offer increased capacity via more flow paths to allow for increased flow and reduced pressure drop and also create areas where sediment and microplastic particles can be trapped. The construction methods used in Advanced Carbon fibre cartridges allow for a variety of constituents to be incorporated that solve specific application problems. Lead and other heavy metals removal can be targeted, Cryptosporidium and Giardia cysts removed and developments that produce no fines or Sulphur release is a particular benefit in electroplating applications. Advanced carbon fibre technology also enables the use of moulded Santoprene gaskets, meaning no glues are used and the risk of end-caps being left in the housing during cartridge change is vastly reduced.

The Ecopure PRO Whole House Water Filter cartridges use advanced formulation of patented active-ceramics which are highly effective at reducing the effects on health from lime scale and a very wide array of water impurities including chlorine, toxins, heavy metals, chlorine and fluoride. The cartridge is highly advanced and effective at killing and containing bacteria in water such as E-coli, Pseudomonas and other microorganisms. and is completely unique. Not only that but the cartridge adds antioxidants and essential dietary minerals back into the water after filtering and additionally increases the alkalinity pH
